After the last bout, where several warriors took on the mighty Bristles, Balin strikes a deal with several members of the Xanathar to start buying slaves and forming them into gladiators. One week's time and Balin's dream of bringing the pit fights into the streets of Skullport, he waits anxiously for the shipment, knowing full well that it will make him and others around him rich.
Balin's plan is to buy six slaves for the first match, and train them soon after by the likes of Jace Steele and Breshnal the Beast. From here on out, they will then be pit against themselves, strange beasts, or whatever cruel sideshow horrors Balin can concoct.
////Supported by DMs, will be a lot of fun, but I need four alts (The other two slaves can be NPCs) for the first event: You start at level 4 but quickly level up through mini RP sessions with your Drill instructors. Talking about 1 level per RP session, all the way up to level 10. You also level up based on how your character does on match day. Also, of course, chance of permadeath and you can't move about freely but you will always have RP and DMs to facilitate. DMs will give you huge exp boosts for the RP that you do. They are alts, but can be really fun and a great time for everyone involved Also, the idea is, if your super build manages to survive long enough and receives the crowd's/audience's blessing, they may actual gain their freedom and become someone's primary character! Anyway, anything is possible, please respond either IC or OOC if you wish to help out!

I have other players willing to make slave turned Gladiators, if another DM wants to join us now that YMD isn't, that'd be great. Also, Balin's initial slave supplier he penned out a contract with were Mardak and then Mauric, both who subsequently left. Someone else from Xanathar could pick it up be they NPC, but preferably PC. The gladiatorial bouts aren't required to be DM intensive, so whatever DM decides to do help, is free to put in the amount of work they want; there's not a lot that comes with it as most of the RP has been done already and for you. And if the idea of Gladiatorial showmanship and combat inspires something creative within you, by all means take it where you wish (of course)!
